Some more work on the shelves in the shed. I have been contemplating how to build maximum storage into our little garden shed.
I need some space for my grain drums, but I'd also like to get the whipper-snipper and garden tools hung up out of the way. And then there is a bunch of stuff that needs to be stored out of the way until I get to them or need them (mid-term projects)
And I'm working in a 2m * 2m garden shed. And I don't want to drill any holes in the shed walls. So I built some more shelves and then built a fairly simple batten wall between the 2 shelves. This will be the hanging space for the whipper-snipper and bigger garden tools. Shelves will hold petrol, oil, small paints, etc, etc.
Here is a photo of the new shelves and the start of the wall. You can see the framework in place already between the shelves. Just a bit more framework to whack into place and I am ready for the fibre-board sheeting. Then fit the storage rack system for the top plate, and some normal storage hooks for the middle piece of framework.
